SUSAN
Susan dropped into her first yoga class ten years ago at the Silver Spring YMCA. She left class with the feeling that something had shifted. This was a different kind of exercise; it didn’t feel like an aerobics or Pilates class. There was more to the practice on the mat than building strength and flexibility. Yoga awakened in Susan something deeper, more complete and compelling. She was hooked.
Since then, Willow Street Yoga Studio has been the source of her yogic growth. She thanks Suzie Hurley (who makes life look better the older you get) for passing on the joy of teaching and living yoga. She graduated in 2016 from Willow Street’s YTT and is registered with Yoga Alliance as RYT 200.
Susan embraces turning 60 this year (Wahoo!) and has a loving, supportive husband, four adult sons and a faithful black lab. She has a Masters in Education and spent 20 years directing and teaching in the field of early childhood education. Susan is a pie maker, a home barista, a cocktail enthusiast, a beekeeper, a swimmer and an avid Oriole fan. Nature continually inspires her; she loves hiking in Rock Creek Park and the Colorado Rockies.

SMALL GROUP CLASSES
The studio comfortably fits four students. You can gather a few friends and have small personalized classes.
PRIVATE SESSIONS
Book a private session designed to fit your body, your schedule and your intentions. You choose where - the SFY studio, your home or office.
REMOTE SESSIONS
Have a session in the privacy of your own home. You need only FaceTime or Skype.
